A new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, efficient and motivated Purchasing Administrator to join a busy, highly customer focused Purchasing Team.
This is an office-based role where you will take responsibility for the placement of purchase orders and liaising with production to ensure customer orders are received on time and to their exact specification.
Salary c.£25-28K depending on experience
Key responsibilities for the Purchasing Administrator include,

  • Be the main point of contact for order amendments, cancellations and delays
  • Converting sales orders received from the sales team
  • Using a bespoke CRM to process purchase orders
  • Keeping production and delivery teams fully updated on any changes
  • Ordering and despatching material to production
  • Maintain constant communications with the internal logistics team
  • Arranging customer deliveries
  • Carry out an other relevant administrative tasks as required

The ideal Purchasing Administrator will need,

  • Confident IT skills including Excel and the use of CRM systems is a must
  • Extremely confident and professional verbal/written communication skills required
  • Have a passion for providing a 5* service to customers
  • Previous experience of working within a busy, fast-paced environment with clear communications with various teams
  • Have a methodical approach alongside a keen eye for detail and accuracy is essential
  • An interest in anything interiors related would be a bonus
  • Have a full UK driving licence and own vehicle, free on-site parking

Hours 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday
