***QHSE MANAGER***
We are seeking a talented and experienced QHSE Manager to join our engineering clients. This is a pivotal role within the business which requires solid Quality, Health, Safety and Environment experience ideally within a engineering or manufacturing or highly regulated environment. Candidates with six sigma along with sound knowledge of Lean tools preferred.
Salary £50K + benefits
Key responsibilities for the QHSE Manager include,
- Maintain and continuously improve the Integrated Management System, covering Quality, EHS and Regulatory Compliance, throughout
- Evaluate the effectiveness of processes by implementing a adequate audit framework and set up relevant KPIs
- Ensure timely resolution to all System non conformances
- Support and improve an effective and efficient Product Non-Quality management process
- supplier selection and maintenance of approvals, where necessary improving quality, OTD and save costs
- Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives in the company using Lean manufacturing and Hoshin methods
The ideal QHSE Manager will need,
- Solid quality, health, safety and Environment experience preferably within engineering or manufacturing
- Be a qualified Lead Auditor and be familiar in scheduling/undertaking internal/external system audits
- Working knowledge of ISO9001
- Experience of using Lean tools
- Experience of Quality Assurance from design to manufacture
- Have a history of working within a global supply base including supplier negotiation and development of suppliers
- Solid understanding of EHS regulations
- A full UK driving licence essential along with flexibility to travel overseas as required
