***TRAINEE ACCOUNTANT***
We are on the hunt for a Trainee Accountant with some previous practice experience to join a friendly, fast-growing accounting firm +. Perhaps you have started your AAT studies and have ambitions to gain your ACCA qualification in which case this company can support you in achieving your dreams!
The purpose of the role is to support the Practice Accountant in the preparation of statutory accounts to draft stage and well as bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients.
Salary up to £28K + bonus scheme + free parking + study/mentoring support
Key responsibilities for the Trainee Accountant include,

• Preparation of clients bookkeeping and quarterly VAT returns
• Control account reconciliations
• Assisting with year end and management account files for clients
• Preparing tax computations alongside the accounts work
• Preparing VAT returns for review
• Liaising with clients in a confident and professional manner
• Writing letters and emails

The ideal Trainee Accountant will need,

• Some previous accountancy practice experience
• Ambition to continue their education within accountancy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail essential
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential

Hours 8.30am-5pm, 4pm finish on Friday
