A unique opportunity has just landed for a Process Operator within the Oil & Gas sector. This role offers a comprehensive training & development plan and could suit candidates with some previous experience within the oil & gas sector such as operational or maintenance or ex-military personnel, water treatment or mechanical engineering applicants.

Key responsibilities for the Process Operator include,
- Carry out routine and non-routine activities to ensure the safe and efficient running of the Gas Plant, Oil Gathering Station
- Carry out and take control of routine operations (e.g. pigging of flowlines, well testing, road tanker loading/unloading, discharge water testing, chemicals inventory management) and non-routine operations
- Undertake thorough fault-finding investigations and identification of Maintenance issues
- Undertake routine and non-routine monitoring of the plant facilities at the Gas Plant, Oil Gathering Station
- Undertake general housekeeping activities at the facilities locations
- Assist the Operations Manager in the production of daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Undertake comprehensive shift handover, both written and verbal
- Adhere to company health, safety and environmental management system
- Support and participate in HS&E communication and improvement initiatives
- Complete all assigned training to a satisfactory standard in a timely manner
The ideal Process Operator will need,
- Educated to GCSE Level
- Ideally hold NVQ Level 2 Process Operations
- NEBOSH – International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety would be preferable
- Computer Literate
- Be literate and numerate with excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Have the ability to work with minimum supervision and plan/prioritise daily activities
- Be able to work within a team to resolve problems and take technical guidance
- A full UK driving licence and own transport essential
