CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL 2020
Monday 9th – Friday 13th March

The Cheltenham Gold Cup is a Grade 1 National Hunt horse race run on the New Course at Cheltenham Racecourse Gloucestershire, over a distance of about 3 miles 2½ furlongs, and during its running there are 22 fences to be jumped.

The most prestigious and unmissable Jump racing event of the year. The Cheltenham Festival is a bucket list event that captures the nation and produces extraordinary moments to last a lifetime, including Gold Cup Day.

DAYS OF WORK:
Tuesday 10th March 08:00-19:00 (First live day) TIMES TBC
Wednesday 11th – Friday 13th March 08:30-19:00 (Live Days) TIMES TBC

RATES OF PAY:
£8.63-£9.20ph inc Hol Pay
Earn up to/between £350-£400 for the week if all hours worked

ROLE:
We need 50 x Waiters/Bar staff needed

DRESS CODE:
White long sleeve shirt, black smart suit trousers, black smart socks and black leather smart shoes. Natural makeup, hair tied, no nail varnish, beards trimmed and dressed neatly.

BREAKS:
Unpaid half hour break deducted per shift

ACCOMMODATION/FOOD/TRAVEL:
We will be organising accommodation/Food/Travel for all staff booked (50 staff in total),
The accommodation is 49 minutes away from Cheltenham Racecourse AND the coach will take you to and from your shift each day!

FOOD:
We will provide all staff with Breakfast & Dinner (Tuesday 12th – Friday 15th March). You will be provided with lunch, at the racecourse. Please bring your own snacks, breakfast/lunch for Monday.

TRAVEL:
When applying, you must state where you would like the pickup to be from on the below dates.

Monday 9th March 
Profiles Office, GU9 7LS 15:00 Meet
Reading Station (Main) 16:00 Meet

Tuesday 10th – Thursday 12th March
You will be taken from accommodation, to the racecourse and back to accommodation each day.

Friday 13th March
You will be taken to the racecourse from the accommodation for final raceday. Once finished, the coach will drive staff back to their pickup destinations.

Reading Station (Main) 21:00/21:30 arrive back (roughly)
Profiles Office, GU9 7LS 22:30 arrive back (roughly)

 

Due to transport/accommodation, we can only book staff that are available for the FULL WEEK.
