Bar Manager – Events Venue (Weddings & Private Events)

Profiles Personnel are recruiting a Bar Manager for the Silchester, a beautiful countryside events venue hosting weddings, private celebrations and corporate events for up to 150 guests.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to lead the bar operation, manage stock and staff, and deliver excellent guest experiences across a varied events calendar.
Please note: The job is in a rural location, so a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bar service across weddings and events
- Train and supervise bar staff (including coffee & cocktail service)
- Manage stock ordering, stock takes and cost control
- Maintain high service standards and guest engagement
- Drive upselling and bar profitability
- Ensure licensing, health & safety and hygiene compliance
- Maintain clean, organised bar and cellar areas
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years hospitality experience
- Personal Licence holder – essential
- Full UK driving licence – essential (rural location)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Passion for great service and events
