*Marquee Erector*
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Marquee Erector to join our team in Surrey and Hampshire. As a Marquee Erector, you will be responsible for setting up and dismantling marquees for various events, including weddings, festivals, and corporate functions. This role offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and take down marquees, tents, and structures for events.
- Ensure all marquees are securely erected, safe, and properly aligned.
- Work as part of a team, following instructions from the lead marquee erector.
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness throughout the setup process.
- Load and unload equipment from the vehicles.
- Transport marquee equipment to various event sites.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Full UK driving license (required for transporting equipment).
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Experience in marquee erection or similar outdoor work is preferred but not essential.
- Flexible and willing to work variable hours depending on event schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and safety conscious.
- Positive attitude and team player.
