Quality Manager
***QUALITY MANAGER***
We have the pleasure of recruiting an experienced Quality Manager with an engineering background to work for a well-established engineering business. This is a new pivotal role within the business which requires previous experience in a similar role such as a Continuous Improvement Manager within a manufacturing environment. Candidates with Six Sigma preferred or extensive experience in Quality and Lean techniques. Perhaps you have managed or been part of a quality team within a large organisation.
Salary – £48-55K depending on experience + benefits
Key responsibilities for the Quality Manager include,
- Collaborate with departmental managers to identify areas for improvement of processes, systems, tools and equipment
- Drive up process efficiency and productivity
- Implement effective strategies
- Manage multi-disciplinary team to achieve objectives
- Provide guidance and support to departmental teams in designing and implementing improvements
The ideal Quality Manager will need,
- Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives within an engineering or large manufacturing environment
- Must have a detailed knowledge of continuous improvement tools
- Must have management experience within quality
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others
- Confident Office 365 skills essential
- Qualifications such as Six Sigma preferred
- Knowledge to process instrumentation advantageous
