***PROJECT COORDINATOR***
Calling all super efficient Project Coordinators who are looking for a busy, varied office based role within the heart of leafy Farnham!
This is a key role with the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Construction and working alongside the project/contract Managers you will ensure consistency of procedures across all projects, ensure budget control at site level, site setup, branding and marketing strategy. Note this Project Coordinator role is very much an administrative role which would suit a diligent, process driven person who prides themselves on making sure procedures are carried out efficiently. Candidates seeking part-time would also be considered.
Salary 28-32K depending on experience + paid parking
Key responsibilities for the Project Coordinator include,

  • Introduction to client teams and contractors at pre-construction phase to gain early project knowledge
  • Ownership of budgets and management of key suppliers and personnel during the construction phase
  • Have input and provide assistance in developing company systems and procedures
  • Form a vital part of the handover process to the client at practical completion
  • Ensuring the documentation is in place to offer a smooth handover process
  • Assist team with surveys and site visits
  • Engage H&S Advisor to compile Pre Construction Info and Construction Phase Plan
  • Engage Building Control, agree fee structure and key dates
  • Oversee validations & initial surveys
  • Assist with contract and landlord LTA pack
  • Responsible for site team expenditure & budget (agreed as a team)
  • Oversee site establishment, suppliers, logistics and branding
  • Input on project report pack for client team meetings
  • Input on final account agreements (client & supplier) to assist in financial closure

The ideal Project Coordinator will need,

  • Previous Project Coordinator related experience within the construction related sector useful but not essential
  • Strong administrative skills essential
  • The ability to juggle a number of projects at any one time essential
  • Numerate, a good head for figures essential as you will be involved in managing budgets
  • A flexible, ‘can do’ approach
  • Full UK driving licence required – free paid parking
