***FACILITIES MANAGER***
A great new immediately available vacancy for a super efficient, experienced Facilities Manager has just landed for our clients based on the outskirts of Farnham, Surrey. The purpose of the Facilities Manager is to take for the day-to-day running and operation of company vehicles and the facilities, buildings, and supporting infrastructure, at times overseeing maintenance tasks.
Salary £25-30K depending on experience + benefits
Key responsibilities for the Facilities Manager include,

  • Day-to-day running and operation of the buildings, facilities, and supporting infrastructure
  • Maintaining all company vehicles, arranging schedule maintenance, and reporting and arranging repair of any defects
  • General basic site maintenance and care of the premises, including the buildings and car park and outside areas
  • Issue and control of Company keys
  • Maintain security of the buildings, liaising with contractors as required
  • Responding to Security Alarm Call-Outs by contacting the relevant Security Monitoring Company and other staff as appropriate
  • Arranging a Company presence with sub-contractors while they are on the premises
  • Ensure internal space/meeting rooms/offices/reception/common areas are prepared and kept clean and tidy
  • Assist with the implementation of new operational systems including CCTV, access control etc
  • Ensure functionality of mechanical equipment
  • Overall liaison with all other internal departments

The ideal Facilities Manager will need,

  • Have proven experience of working in facilities management
  • Have a good understanding of the built environment
  • A sound knowledge of general Health & Safety practice and compliance essential
  • A full clean driving licence essential, ideally with category B and driving experience
  • Have a flexible attitude and methodical approach to all matters
  • Have general basic DIY maintenance knowledge
  • Confident computer and MS Office skills required
  • Be well-presented with excellent verbal/written communication skills

Hours 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
This role would suit a well organised, capable Facilities Manager with a flexible ‘can do’ approach within the workplace.
