Customer Services Supervisor
***CUSTOMER SERVICES SUPERVISOR***
A super new opening for a talented Customer Service Supervisor has just landed with our clients who put their people, sustainability and service at the very heart of what they do. The purpose of this office based role is to generate a motivational and inspiring approach to the Customer Service Team to ensure pro-active and responsive handling of all customer requirements resulting in customer requests and sales orders being handled in line to meet the customers’ expectations.
Salary £25-30K depending on experience
Key responsibilities for the Customer Service Supervisor include,
- Manage key customer account
- Report generation to maintain/monitor standards including but not limited to outstanding SO’s, aged stock, outstanding WO’s and weekly Deliveries
- Supervisory responsibility for Customer Service team members, to include: PDP’s, RTW’s & attendance management, disciplinaries, recruitment, training & retention
- Responsible for Customer Complaints, ensuring they are closed off within the appropriate timescale
- Monitoring and reporting at the monthly management meeting
- Ability to aid Production with holiday / sick cover
- Support the Sales Office Manager
- Any other reasonable request that supports the business
The ideal Customer Service Supervisor will need the following,
- Be approachable to the team and other departments and daily management of the Customer Service Team
- Have a track record of managing staff & deadlines effectively, ensuring even spread of workload throughout the team
- Ability to effectively communicate with all departments, especially Production, to ensure customer requirements are met
- Have previous experience of dealing with appraisals, disciplinaries, recruitment, training and retention
- Proven ability to monitor customer complaints on a weekly basis & chase for completion
- Build rapport with larger customers
- Competent with IT interfaces & systems

Hours – 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday 1 hour for lunch
